Departure Checklist

For the next guests:

• Wash the sheets and towels. There’s a second washer and dryer in the first upstairs bathroom — line drying is appreciated for energy savings, if you have time.
• Tidy up and clean the bathroom — there are no cleaners coming between stays.

Around the house:

• Turn all heating to frost-protection mode (this is usually handled remotely as well, but please do it yourself in case the automation misbehaves — see Heating).
• Turn off the main water (also usually automated — see Water).
• Turn off the water heaters.
• Put the garden furniture cushions back inside.
• Close all the shutters.
• Turn the Ring camera back on (see WiFi & Ring Cameras).
• Close the doors to all rooms.
• Lock the front door.
• Lock the apartment door — remember to lift the handle firmly first (see Getting In).
